I am grateful for the wonderful day yesterday. I spent the whole day with two friends I hadn't met up with since Dec 2004. They also introduced me to someone who is now a new friend of mine. Though this is the most important, it was also a day that was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing: sun, nice towns, medieval houses, a medieval market, sitting on gorgeous river bands, seeing excellent castles. A perfect day out - felt like a whole vacation!

I hope you all have such a great day today! Wink

I'm grateful for my friends who have to put up with me. Those that are close at hand and offer practical support and help when needed. Those that are far away but still provide support and friendship over the miles.

I'm grateful for my son, pain in the arse though he can be, my life would be immeasurably poorer without him although the bank balance wouldn't. Wink

I'm grateful for the opportunities I've had and the fact that I never question that I can do anything I choose - if I can get off my butt (there's a bottom theme in this post Twisted Evil ) in the first place.

I'm particularly grateful to the friend who drove me down to Brighton last night so we could have a girl's night out clubbing.

I'm not so grateful for all the beer I drank as I still feel a bit queasy now but hey-ho, everything comes with a price.

I'm grateful for my monthly insomnia (did I used to be a vampire in a former life?...)
that allowed me to find lost pictures of me (about my "fairy gothic" period) I've promised to a friend

Check out your emailbox, mate who is concerned, I'm about to send them to you (a few fights with my scanner and that's gonna be done) Wink

the stone age dude , who realised that , if you bang different objects together , and vary the size , or length , you get a series of different notes, some call it 'Music' , although , as Mel Brooks observed , this was soon followed by the first critic .

I am living quite far away from the place, I was born and raised. Today, my best friend from Mainz sent me a movie clip about a report broadcasted by WDR Lokalzeit a couple of weeks ago about my home village. My parents house was shown.

The thing drove the tears into my eyes.

I'm still smiling over the kindness of musician Lee Devenport, who took the extra time (during live gig season) to autograph the Alternative Influence CD I ordered, include an AI badge, and slip in a note to make sure I shook the envelope to find the badge. Behind the balaclava is a man with a heart of gold! Very Happy
